Jane App integration

What an AI receptionist actually does for a Jane App clinic

An AI receptionist for a Jane App™ clinic connects straight to Jane: Rebookly reads your services, durations, practitioners, locations, and visit history, so Emma can answer patient questions accurately and follow up with the right people. She does not see your schedule — when a patient is ready, she sends your Jane online booking link and they choose from your live availability inside Jane. Emma guides the conversation; Jane holds the calendar.

  • Emma never sees your schedule
  • Jane stays the source of truth
  • No Jane credentials stored
  • Multi-location supported

The connection

How Emma connects to Jane App

Rebookly works within Jane rather than around it. It reads what it needs to hold an accurate conversation, and leaves the booking itself to Jane.

The boundaries

What she does — and what she doesn’t

Being clear about the edges is the point. These are the two questions clinics ask most before they start.

Booking

How a booking actually happens

Emma answers what she knows and routes what she doesn’t to your booking link. That is the whole product in three steps.

  1. Step 1

    The patient asks

A message arrives by text, website chat, or social DM — or a call goes unanswered and Emma texts back. She answers what it costs, how long it takes, and who provides it.

  2. Step 2

    Emma sends your Jane link

The moment the patient is ready, Emma hands over your own Jane online booking link. She never names a time herself — she has no sight of your schedule, and doesn’t need one.

  3. Step 3

    The patient books in Jane

They choose from your live availability inside Jane, and Jane enforces its own rules as it always has. The appointment appears like any other booking for your staff to manage.

Emma never names a time, so there is nothing to go out of date mid-conversation. The patient is always looking at your live availability in Jane, and the slot is only taken when they complete the booking there.

No disruption

Nothing about how you run Jane changes

Questions

Jane App integration, answered

How does an AI receptionist integrate with Jane App?

Rebookly connects directly to Jane App™ and reads your appointment-related setup — services, durations, practitioners, and locations — plus patient and visit history. That is what lets Emma answer questions accurately and follow up with the right people. When a patient is ready, she hands over your own live Jane online booking link. Jane remains the source of truth at all times.

Does Rebookly read from Jane, write to Jane, or both?

Rebookly reads from Jane. It does not write appointments into Jane — patients complete their own booking through your live Jane online booking, so Jane’s rules and permissions always govern what is possible. Bookings made this way appear like any other booking, and your staff can edit, reschedule, or cancel them using standard Jane workflows.

Can Emma tell me what times are available?

No. Emma doesn’t see your schedule, so she never names or suggests a time, date, or appointment slot. When a patient is ready to book, she sends them your Jane App™ online booking link — and they choose from your live availability inside Jane. Jane stays your source of truth: Emma guides the conversation, Jane holds the calendar.

Does an AI receptionist answer the phone?

No. Emma has no voice and never picks up or records a call. When a call goes unanswered, her missed-call text-back assistant texts the caller within seconds and Emma continues over SMS. She doesn’t answer calls, she answers callers — and because most people never leave a voicemail, an instant text back usually recovers the conversation better than a callback would.

Does Rebookly work for multi-location clinics and multiple practitioners?

Yes. Rebookly fully supports multi-location Jane accounts, including location-specific hours, services, and provider assignments. It also handles multiple practitioners per service — a patient can ask for a specific practitioner or the next available one — and supports the appointment types configured in Jane, each with its own duration and eligibility rules.

What happens if Jane is temporarily unavailable?

Emma can still hold conversations and follow up as normal — none of that depends on Jane being reachable. Because she never quotes a time herself, there is nothing stale for her to pass on: the booking link always points at Jane’s own online booking, so patients only ever see real availability, from Jane.

Does Rebookly change how our clinic uses Jane?

No. Rebookly works alongside Jane without changing internal workflows — reporting, reminders, billing, and staff processes in Jane stay exactly as they are. Rebookly does not store Jane login credentials, and the integration can be disconnected if you ever need to.
